Dhikr Academy is an online Quran academy offering live, one to one online Quran classes with native Egyptian teachers. Whether you are a parent looking for Quran classes for kids, an adult beginner starting from the Arabic alphabet, or an experienced reciter working toward an ijazah, our certified male and female Quran teachers build a study path around your level, your goals and your weekly schedule. Every new student begins with a completely free trial class, with no registration fee and no card details required.
Online Quran Classes for Kids
Children learn best in short, warm, well structured sessions. Our Quran classes for kids usually run for thirty minutes and combine Noorani Qaida, Noor Al-Bayan, letter recognition, correct pronunciation and light memorisation. Teachers use screen sharing, colour coded pages and gentle reward systems so that young learners stay engaged from the first minute to the last. Parents receive a written progress report every week, so you always know exactly which surah your child is reading, which Tajweed rule is being practised and what to revise at home. Many families in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia choose us specifically because their children finally look forward to their Quran lesson rather than avoiding it.
Quran Classes for Adults
It is never too late to begin. A large share of our students are adults who never had the chance to learn properly as children, reverts taking their first steps in Arabic reading, or professionals who want to correct long standing recitation habits. Our Quran classes for adults are private, patient and completely free of embarrassment. You choose the pace: two, three or five lessons per week, early morning before work or late evening after the children are asleep. Because every class is one to one, nothing is rushed and nothing is skipped.
Learn Tajweed the Traditional Way
To learn Tajweed properly you need a teacher who can hear your recitation and correct it in real time. Our teachers are trained in the Al-Azhar tradition and take students through makharij al huruf, sifat, the rules of noon saakinah and tanween, meem saakinah, madd, waqf and ibtida, and finally full application in continuous recitation. Advanced students may continue along the ijazah track, reciting the entire Qur'an to a qualified shaykh with a connected chain of transmission back to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
Learn Arabic Online
Understanding the language of the Qur'an transforms the way you pray and read. Our learn Arabic online programme covers reading and writing, classical grammar, essential vocabulary and conversational Modern Standard Arabic. Students can study Arabic alongside their Quran classes or as a standalone track, and the same flexible scheduling and personalised learning plan apply. Islamic Studies lessons in aqeedah, seerah and basic fiqh are also available for families who want a complete education for their children.
Male and Female Quran Teachers
We know that choosing a teacher is a matter of trust as much as qualification. That is why we offer both female Quran teachers and male Quran teachers. Sisters and young girls can be matched with a female teacher, brothers with a male teacher, and parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons. Every teacher on our team is interviewed for character as well as for knowledge, holds a recognised certification, and has years of experience teaching students who live outside the Arab world.
Families in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia
Distance is no longer a barrier to learning the Book of Allah. We teach students across the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, the UAE and much of Europe, with teachers available around the clock so that lesson times fit local school runs, work shifts and prayer times. Classes run over Zoom or Google Meet, need nothing more than a laptop or tablet, and are recorded on request so students can revise their teacher's corrections during the week.
Start with a Free Trial
The best way to judge an online Quran academy is to experience a real lesson. Your free trial is a full class with a real teacher, not a sales call. We assess the student's current level, discuss goals, and send you a personalised learning plan afterwards. There is no registration fee, no obligation to continue, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. Send us a message on WhatsApp with the student's age and what you would like to learn, and we will arrange your first class, in sha Allah.
